Getting Quoted ("we", "us") operates gettingquoted.com, a free service that connects homeowners with local home-service providers and their authorized marketing partners. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
When you submit a request we collect the details you provide — your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, and information about your project (service type, timing, property details). We also automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, browser/user-agent, the page you came from, and advertising identifiers (e.g. Google click ID, UTM parameters). With your consent we capture a consent certificate (e.g. TrustedForm) recording your submission.
We use your information to match you with one or more vetted home-service providers and authorized partners who may contact you about your project (see Partners). By submitting a request you authorize us to share your information with those providers and partners so they can contact you. We may also use it to operate, secure, and improve our service, and to comply with law.
By submitting a request and agreeing to our consent language, you provide prior express written consent to be contacted at the phone number and email you provide — including by automated telephone dialing system, prerecorded/artificial voice, text message, and email — even if your number is on a Do-Not-Call list. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. You may opt out at any time (reply STOP to texts, or contact us).
We and our advertising providers (such as Google and Meta) use cookies and similar technologies to measure ad performance and conversions. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Depending on your state (e.g. California/CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your information, and to opt out of certain sharing. To exercise these rights or ask a question, contact privacy@gettingquoted.com.
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal/record-keeping obligations, then delete or de-identify it.
